G.V. Grimalt is the author of many romance books and never shies away from a happy ending. A native of Sharlayan, he enjoys travel, adventure, and the search for his muse. His favorite animals are carbuncles, and his favorite meal is the excitement of his readers. His favorite sorts of books to write include elements of adventure and mystery. The latter, he insists, is something he tries to maintain about his life beyond his work.

His books are known for their elaborately embossed leather covers, and always bear an illustration of the main characters on the title page. As finely crafted as they are written, each one also includes an author portrait in the back with a mailing address for his editor in Sharlayan. Should someone desire to send him fan (or hate) mail, correspondences directed there will receive a reply from the author at his earliest convenience.

Hi there! The books listed here are written by my character Ghislain Grimalt, an elezen arcanist and author. I'm open to characters who like (or hate!) his work running into him! If you'd like to know more about the man behind the quill, please check out his carrd here. The last title listed could certainly earn him the ire or amusement of certain characters, and I have no qualms in RPing out reactions to it or any of his books! As for his works, in my mind they're not poorly done. They're not crass novels, but they are romance novels and contain all the trappings one might expect from them in regards to content. A man with the flair for the dramatic, they balance elegant prose with a level of detail that doesn't dip into purple. But of course I'm sure there are people who despise them! So if you want to have read them IC whatever your character's take on them is, I'm here for it! Thanks for incorporating my dorky dude's fiction into yours! Also, he has more novels and they will be added to the carrd as I've time to write their summaries. Thank you for reading!
